Desc: The Lion Tree: With Geraldine Jackson. In a little known part of Central Africa lies the Pasanga floodplain, an area of just 750 square kilometers. Its rich grasslands sustain a wide variety of water loving birds and animals. Right in the middle of the plain is a giant wild fig tree that dominates the whole of Pasanga. This tree stands at the centre of the territory of a pride of lions. Lions which differ from the norm in that they climb trees.
